Privacy Policy

The Roof Guys ("we," "us," or "our") operates WorksitePro, a project and accounts-receivable management tool for roofing contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account (name, email, company name) and when you use the app: project records, customer contact information, photos, files, notes, SMS and email message history you send through the app, and accounts-receivable data you sync from QuickBooks Online (invoices, customers, payments). When you use the canvassing features of our mobile apps, we also collect your device's precise location (see "Mobile apps and location" below).

How we use information

We use the information you provide solely to operate WorksitePro for you: to display your projects, sync invoices and payments between TRG and QuickBooks Online, send messages on your behalf, and provide the features you have configured.

QuickBooks Online data

When you connect QuickBooks Online to TRG, we read invoices, customer records, and payment records via the Intuit Developer API in order to display them inside TRG and reconcile them with your projects. Payments you record in TRG are written back to your QuickBooks Online company via the same API. We do not share QuickBooks data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from Settings > QuickBooks, which stops further syncing and revokes our access token. Locally stored data from prior syncs remains in your TRG database until you delete it.

Mobile apps and location

Our iOS and Android apps use your device camera to capture project photos and scan documents, and your photo library when you choose to upload existing photos. The door-knocking (canvassing) features use your device's precise location, only while the app is in use, to place and sort map pins near you. We do not track your location in the background, and we never sell location data. On Android, map tiles are rendered by Google Maps. You can revoke camera, photo, or location access at any time in your device settings; the related features simply stop working.

Text messages

When a team member turns on Worksite Pro text alerts, we collect the mobile number they save for those alerts and a record of their opt-in. We use that number only to text them when a teammate tags them in a note or adds a supplement note to a project they manage (see Worksite Pro Team Text Alerts).

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We share the number only with our SMS provider, Twilio, so the alerts can be delivered. To stop text alerts, reply STOP to any alert, or clear your number in the app (Settings → Team on the web, or Profile in the iPhone app) and tap Save. Reply HELP for help.

Storage and security

Account data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) and files in Supabase Storage, hosted in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your team's data is restricted to your team members via row-level security policies.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the subprocessors required to operate the service: Supabase (database + file storage), Vercel (application hosting), Intuit (when you choose to connect QuickBooks Online), Google (when you choose to connect Gmail), and Twilio (when you send SMS through the app, and to deliver team text alerts).

Your choices

You can update or delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email below. Disconnecting an integration (QuickBooks, Gmail, messaging) revokes our access to the corresponding third-party data.
